A variety of mentoring resources from “Teacher Mentorship BC”

Fabulous article: “Shifting Gears: The Mentee in the Driver’s Seat” by LoisZachary and Lory Fischler.

The centric reflection model – three kinds of reflection interact with three POV in order to give a framework for interrogating professional practice. Here you look at self, student and standards during three phases: reflect while planning (for self), reflecting as you teach, reflecting after on what happened. Teacher could do this and possibly mentor, you could predict before class together, both reflect during the class (mentor as observer) and then reflect together after the class.
